Located in one of Truckee’s most vibrant and recreation-rich areas, Soaring Ranch is reimagining the best of Truckee in a neighborhood fully blended with housing, recreation, and commerce. Phase One featured a full-scale market, hardware, restaurants and other amenities, specifically including Raley’s grocery market, Mountain Hardware’s second location, Remax, DLUX Window Coverings, Martis Valley Massage, Grizzly Menswear and more businesses. This hub of local living puts everything within footsteps or pedal strokes as well as serving the greater Truckee area and and is the only shopping center located east of Downtown Truckee. The housing in phases two and three is being designed by DAHLIN and will feature a contemporary mountain character, complimenting the architectural character established by the phase one design team with their iconic design of the Raley's. Currently in design, the second phase will include 69 multifamily housing units, of which 8 units will be affordable. It will also include over 20,000 square feet of new commercial and retail space. Apartments will feature social and recreational amenities, including play areas for children. Units will range from 550 to 1,200 square feet with a mix of studios to three bedrooms. At completion of phase three, there will be an additional 10,000 square feet of commercial and retail along with Soaring Ranch’s full build out of approximately 170 housing units, which will be prioritized to full-time, local residents.
