Design that improves security, ease of navigation and maintenance, and creates a better environment for learning.

DAHLIN’s design for this whole site modernization will make the school easier to navigate and maintain, more secure, and create a better environment for learning. The design addresses the following elements: interior environmental quality; mechanical, electrical, plumbing upgrades; storage space; teaching and learning tools; and proper-sizing of educational spaces. Campus-wide improvements will also include ADA path of travel improvements, structural review and upgrades, fire alarm and communication upgrades, security lighting and cameras, and card reader access. The joint-use field work includes grading and landscaping for a natural turf multiuse field, stabilized decomposed granite walking path, backstops, drinking fountains, fencing, new parking and a redesign of the existing parking.

Whole site modernization of Rowan Elementary includes two classroom buildings, Administration, and Auditorium buildings; expansion and renovation to existing Administration building and new Administration support building; replacement of two kindergarten portable buildings and removal of five existing portable buildings.

Services to date include Assessment, Programming, and Planning; (pending NTP for CD’s, Bidding and CA services).
