Simple tile-roofed stone forms and massing is complimented by slender steel columns, expanses of glass and thin flat-roofed eaves. The 8,091 square meter building plan focuses all views on the golf course with dining and club rooms positioned to maximize southern exposure. As an initial introduction to the golf and country club concept in Chengdu, Luxe Hills' Golf Training Center was the first community building. The sweeping curve of the driving range and mahjong tables invite residents and guests to linger and socialize. Square cut local quartz, painted steel, heavy wooden window grids, copper painted curved roofs and eaves with reverse tapered rakes, all combine to form a warm country palette.
